Perfect for adult learners seeking a career in women’s hairdressing, our Level 3 Hairdressing Course provides the opportunity to learn, develop, and practice advanced hairdressing skills essential for employment and career progression. The course is highly practical, covering a wide range of hairdressing techniques. The Level 3 Diploma in Hair Services is scheduled for two nights a week throughout the academic year, making it convenient for those balancing other commitments. Whether you're looking to refine your skills or advance in your career, this course provides the comprehensive training you need to succeed in the hairdressing industry.

  • What you will study
    • Health and safety in the workplace
    • Client consultation for hair services
    • Style and dress hair
    • Cut women’s hair
    • Colouring and lightening techniques
    • Hair colour correction
  • Entry Requirements

    You must:

    • Be over 19
    • Have 4 GCSEs at grade 9-4 (A*-C), including English and Maths, OR
    • a Level 2 qualification (Merit or Distinction) in a related subject.

    Note: For skills-based qualifications, you may need to possess the skills at Level 2 to enrol on the Level 3. The final selection is made through interviews and internal tests.

  • Assessment

    You will be assessed through a range of practical assessment techniques, observations, assignments and online examinations.

  • Moving Forward

    Employment as a fully qualified hairdresser or stylist

  • Duration

    Two nights a week across the duration of the academic year.

  • Delivery

    This course is taught on Bromley Campus on Mondays and Wednesdays 5.30pm - 8.30pm

  • Cost and Loans

    You will be expected to purchase your own course materials, hairdressing kit, uniform and textbooks.
